WOXY collaborated with the Community Family Services of Ontario to host a meaningful health workshop with the Milliken Park Seniors Club, welcoming more than forty seniors for a morning of learning, connection, and laughter.

Around forty seniors are smiling together indoors beside a WOXY banner and the club flag, capturing a warm and engaging community atmosphere.

The workshop focused on helping participants understand their own health in simple, practical ways — not just through numbers, but through awareness of how everyday habits shape overall well-being.

Seniors are seated attentively, engaging with printed materials and asking questions in a bright and welcoming venue.

Our registered nurses guided the discussion with warmth and clarity, encouraging open conversation and creating a relaxed environment where everyone could learn at their own pace.

The response was remarkable.

Seniors actively shared their experiences, asked thoughtful questions, and supported one another with enthusiasm.

Many expressed that they felt more confident in understanding their health and more motivated to make small but meaningful lifestyle changes.

Several even requested that the workshop be continued as a regular series — a testament to how valuable these moments of professional connection can be.

For WOXY, this event represents more than a community session — it’s a reflection of our mission to make professional health education accessible, trustworthy, and personal.

By bringing qualified nurses into familiar community spaces, we hope to bridge the gap between health knowledge and daily life, helping every individual feel seen, understood, and cared for.

We’re deeply thankful to CSFO and the Milliken Park Seniors Club for their warm welcome and partnership.

Together, we continue to bring healthcare closer to home — one conversation, one connection at a time.standing, and empowering every individual to live well.
