WOXY delivers a comprehensive cholesterol and lipid panel measuring LDL, HDL, triglycerides, and cardiovascular risk score. Results are reviewed with you by our registered nurse, giving you a clear picture of your heart health.
Performed on-site by registered nurses. Full digital report included.

The lipid panel measures total cholesterol alongside LDL and HDL fractions. The ratio of LDL to HDL is among the strongest predictors of cardiovascular risk, offering a more clinically meaningful assessment than total cholesterol in isolation.
Elevated cholesterol produces no symptoms. Arterial narrowing can progress undetected for years. A lipid panel is the only reliable way to identify dyslipidaemia before a cardiac event occurs.

Persistently elevated LDL is the principal driver of plaque formation within arterial walls. Early identification and management can slow or reverse disease progression, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke.
For those on lipid-lowering therapy or lifestyle programmes, serial lipid panels provide objective confirmation of efficacy. Longitudinal tracking enables precise, evidence-based adjustment of your care plan.
A comprehensive lipid panel can reveal the full picture of your heart health and help you take action before problems arise.
Book Your TestCholesterol testing is clinically meaningful across a broad range of risk profiles. If any of the following applies to you, a lipid panel is a practical and important starting point.

A registered nurse collects a small blood sample via finger-prick or brief venous draw. The sample is analysed on-site using validated clinical equipment.
On-site analysis. Results in minutes.

Results meet the same standards as hospital and cardiac clinic laboratories. From sample collection to a complete lipid panel — approximately 5 minutes.
Clinical-grade lipid panel. Approximately 5 minutes.

WOXY's HomeLab service brings a registered nurse to your door. Full lipid panel analysis, the same clinical accuracy, at a time and location that suits you.
Explore HomeLab TestingWOXY uses lipid analysis equipment that meets international clinical standards, consistent with those adopted by hospitals, cardiac clinics, and research institutions worldwide. Every result carries the same clinical validity.

Read moreA lipid panel is a blood test that measures the levels of fats (lipids) in your blood. It includes total cholesterol, LDL (low-density lipoprotein), HDL (high-density lipoprotein), and triglycerides. Together, these values give a comprehensive picture of your cardiovascular risk.
Fasting for 9–12 hours before the test is recommended for the most accurate triglyceride and LDL readings. Water is permitted during the fasting period. Your WOXY registered nurse will advise you on preparation when you book.
Optimal total cholesterol is below 5.2 mmol/L. LDL should ideally be below 2.6 mmol/L, while HDL should be above 1.0 mmol/L for men and 1.3 mmol/L for women. Triglycerides below 1.7 mmol/L are considered normal. Your registered nurse will interpret your results in the context of your overall health.
LDL (often called "bad" cholesterol) can build up in artery walls and increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. HDL ("good" cholesterol) helps remove LDL from the bloodstream and transport it to the liver for elimination. A higher HDL relative to LDL is generally protective.
Adults with no known risk factors are generally advised to test every 4–6 years. Those with risk factors such as family history of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, or hypertension should test more frequently — typically every 1–2 years. Your WOXY nurse will recommend a schedule based on your profile.
Yes. Diet, exercise, and weight management can significantly improve cholesterol profiles. Reducing saturated fats, increasing fibre intake, and regular aerobic exercise can raise HDL and lower LDL. WOXY's registered nurses can guide you on evidence-based lifestyle interventions following your results.
